FAQ
1. Is this program suitable for total beginners?
Yes! The Essential Series is designed to be accessible to people who may have done very little exercise before. As well, the Essential Series has 2 versions of each workout: the Technique Version, which moves slightly slower so that you can really grasp the technique for maximum safety & effectiveness; and the Flow version, which still has lots of cueing and guidance, but moves slightly faster so that you can practice more flow.
The workout itself is focused on balancing out the body: strengthening the muscles that are commonly weak, and stretching the muscles that are commonly tight. There is also a big emphasis on developing core strength, so the lower back is protected.
For those who are more experienced movement practitioners, I recommend the Progressive Series, which still has LOTS of expert guidance, but moves at an accelerated pace, for more challenge and flow.
2. I have done some yoga, pilates, & barre, as well as conventional exercise. Should I get The Essential Series or The Progressive Series?
It depends. If you have found that a mid-level class in any one of these disciplines has been a good workout for you, without creating pain or injury, then I would get The Progressive Series. While it gives lots of good cues, and has safe movement, it will still challenge you.
On the other hand, if you have struggled with exercise classes, or have injuries that require careful attention, then I would get The Essential Series. Each workout is solid, but very accessible, even to those who might not have done a lot of exercise before.
3. Is this program safe if I have injuries?
Always speak to your primary healthcare pracitioner, as well as any related practitioners, such as a physiotherapist, before starting any new exercise program.
That being said, safety is a huge priority for me. Throughout the workouts, I continuously cue proper alignment of the neck, lower back, shoulders, & knees, providing options for modifying the exercises, as well as the use of props, so that you can get the safest, most effective workout.
Over my 30+ year movement teaching career, I have taught thousands of students, many of them with injuries and chronic conditions. I have kept all of that in mind as I designed these workouts.
4. Is the payment of $27 (or $44 for both series) one-time, or a subscription?

5. How is the program delivered? Does it work on all devices?
Once you buy the program, I will send you the links to the password protected pages, that you can access from any device (computer, tablet, phone). All you need is an internet connection.
6. How often should I do these workouts to see results?
The recommended amount of exercise that health experts suggest is 30 minutes a day, and I totally agree with this. In terms of the Fully Embodied Fitness Workout Series, if you do a full class (40-50 minutes) 2x a week, or a mini-workout (20-30 minutes) 3-4x per week, you should begin to feel much better in your body within a few weeks, in terms of feeling stronger, more connected to your core, improved flexibility, posture, balance, & coordination. This is all to say, in a short period of time, you should be feeling more fully embodied!
7. Is this program effective for weight loss?
To varying degrees, all exercise, including this program, is beneficial for weight loss. However, weight loss is multi-factorial. Stress, diet, activity level, age, & hormone levels all play a big role in weight issues and all need to be considered. As a certified coach in nutrition & healthy living, I can provide some guidance, as well as refer you to other related practitioners who specialise more in this area.
8. I prefer live classes. Is that possible?
Yes! I teach group classes via Zoom several times week, as well as 1-to-1 classes for a more personalised approach. In these classes, my eyes are completely on YOU, to ensure proper form and alignment, so that you can get maximum results safely. I LOVE connecting with my students in their own homes, and being able to customise classes to exactly fit their needs & energy levels that day.
